WOMEN'S NOTABLES
- Kamber Skeen helped moved herself up the NCAA Provisional Qualifier list in the first meet of the weekend in the Javelin. Skeen's throw of 42.33m moved her to 37th in the nation just 2.79m outside of the top-20.
- Sydney McCoy took third in both the prelims and finals of the 100m dash and put herself in a very good position for a spot in the national championship as last year the top 24 runners were selected for the 100m and McCoy in .01 away from being in the top-24.
MEN'S NOTABLES
- Eian Hines helped his cause in the long jump with his distance of 7.31m, but sits 32nd in the nation.
- Luke Miller had a strong showing in the Javelin taking second in the event and moved into 20th in the nation; right on the bubble for a selection to the national championship.
UP NEXT
- The Trojans' men's and women's outdoor track and field teams will wait to see if any of their previous provisional qualifying marks will make the cut for the national championship including those student-athletes that have hit automatic qualifying marks already this season.
