Trojans Fall To King In Women's Volleyball Regular Season Finale

University of Mount Olive fell to King University 25-16, 25-16, 25-14 in Conference Carolinas women's volleyball Saturday at Bristol, Tenn. The match was the Trojans' regular season finale.

Britni Johnson recorded 16 digs for Mount Olive, two digs shy of her career high she established in Tuesday's match against Barton. Johnson has reached double figures in digs in all three matches this week.

Mount Olive (4-22 overall, 3-13 Conference Carolinas) and King (18-12, 11-5) will face each other again Tuesday in the first round of the 2015 Conference Carolinas Women's Volleyball Tournament. The Trojans are the North Division No. 5 seed, while the Tornado are the North Division No. 1 seed. The eight-team tournament runs through November 15.
