Montevallo, Ala. – The University of Mount Olive finished sixth at the NCAA DII Southeast Regional Women's Cross Country Championship at the Montevallo XC Course in Montevallo, Ala. Leah Hanle took the individual championship and will advance to the NCAA DII Women's Cross Country National Championship. Hanle and senior Bailee Henry each earned All-Region honors.

- "The women ran strong, having 6 of the 7 run personal bests, with Leah Hanle demolishing the UMO school record, on her way to becoming an individual champion," said Head coach Matt van Lierop.
