Bethlehem, Pa. - The University of Mount Olive women's cross country team finished 38th as a team in a field of 41 teams that included several Division I schools at the Paul Short Invitational in Bethlehem, Pa.

NOTABLES

  • Leah Hanle highlighted the day by finishing 8th overall beating out runners from the Division I schools of Cornell and Utah State, who rounded out the top 10.

  • Celine Ritter finished 107 with a time of 22:17.

  • Shona Blades finished third for the Trojans coming in 273 of 353 with a time of 23:34.

  • Freshman Amber Owens ran a time of 23:49 while finishing 293rd.

  • The Trojans held their own in a field that included numerous Division I schools including Yale, Georgia, Utah State, Cornell, Virginia Tech, Penn, UConn, Navy, West Virginia, Richmond, High Point, and East Carolina.
