Hanle Earns Third All-American Honor At NCAA Division II National Championship

Pittsburgh, Pa. - Leah Hanle earned her third consecutive All-American honor with a seventh-place finish as she was one of two runners to represent the University of Mount Olive women's cross country team at the NCAA Division II National Championships Saturday morning in Pittsburgh, Pa. Celine Ritter joined Hanle at Nationals and finished 62nd.

  • Celine Ritter finished the race in 62nd place, a full 107 spots higher than her 2017 finish of 169th. Ritter was as high as 58th as she came across the 2.9k split but slipped down a few spots as she finished the race 62nd.

  • Hanle's 7th place finish at the 2018 NCAA Division II Cross Country National Championships is the highest finish by a Trojan at Nationals.
  • Hanle became the program's first three-time All-American on either side, men and women.
