Hanle Claims Fourth Consecutive Individual Title at NCAA Southeast Regional Championships

WINGATE, North Carolina - The University of Mount Olive women's cross country team finished 21st of 26 teams at the 2019 NCAA Division II Southeast Regional meet hosted by Wingate University in Wingate, NC.  Senior Leah Hanle led all runners to finish first and claim her fourth consecutive Southeast Regional Runner of the Year title.

INSIDE THE RESULTS
Leah Hanle led all runners finishing first with her time of 20:53.0 to claim her fourth consecutive Southeast Regional Runner of the Year title. Hanle is the first ever runner to win the individual title four year in a row. 

Elizabeth Lopez was the second Trojan to finish coming in 139th with a time of 27:18.0. Erin Dillon came across the line next with a 28:18.2 time to finish 153rd. Riley Houston and Meredith Lorient rounded out the race for UMO finishing 167th and 176th respectively. Houston ran a 29:23.9 time, while Lorient crossed the finish in 31:41.3.
