Opened in 1984, George and Annie Dail Kornegay Arena is the home for Trojan men's and women's basketball and men's and women's volleyball. Kornegay Arena is also home to the Department of Athletics offices, classrooms, hospitality room, Athletics Hall of Fame, a weight room, trophy cases, coaches' offices, and locker rooms.

In the summer of 2014, the Kornegay Arena floor got a facelift to accommodate the school name change to University of Mount Olive.

Kornegay Arena is the home of one of the longest-running college basketball tournaments in the nation, the annual University of Mount Olive Pickle Classic. The first Pickle Classic took place in 1966. The first Pickle Classic to take place at Kornegay Arena was in 1984.

Kornegay Arena is also used for high school tournaments and non-athletic events, such as commencement and the annual Original Free Will Baptist Convention.

Originally called College Hall, it was renamed Kornegay Arena in 2005 after a donation by George Kornegay in honor of his parents George and Annie Dail Kornegay.
