Men’s competitors called to start line (approximately 20 minutes to start)

7:44 a.m.

National anthem

7:50 a.m.                          

Second call to start line for men’s race (approximately 10 minutes to start)

7:55 a.m.                          

Start line is cleared of all non-competitors

7:57 a.m.                          

Runners at the start line for instructions for men’s race

8 a.m.                          

Start of Men’s 10,000-meter championship race (Live Results)

8:55 a.m.

University of Montevallo Cross Country Course (Directions below)

Reserved parking will be available for officials and team vans and buses at the Alabama Traffic Safety Center, located at 985 Shelby Street, Montevallo, AL  35115. Parking for spectators is free and is located on College Drive adjacent to Kermit A. Johnson Field.

Tickets:

Tickets will be available for purchase the day of the race at the course entrance. Admission is $2 for adults and students, with children ages 10-and-under receiving free admission.

Results:

Live results will be available at http://www.xpresstiming.com/Live/2016/XC/NCAADII/.

Results will be available for public viewing at a designated site immediately following the race.

Results will be posted immediately following the race online at http://www.montevallofalcons.com.

Directions to University of Montevallo Cross Country Course:

From Interstate 65 North (Birmingham): Take Interstate 65 South exit 234, the Shelby County Airport  exit. Come to traffic light and turn left. Go straight until three-way stop, turn right on Alabama 70 and follow signs to University of Montevallo. Continue straight until you come to traffic light at the intersection of Alabama 70 and U.S. 119 and turn left. U.S. 119 will continue into downtown Montevallo on Main Street. Turn right at the third traffic light onto Middle Street. Continue on Middle Street for approximately 200 yards and turn right into parking lot at College Drive. Police and parking attendants will assist with event parking.

From Interstate 65 South (Montgomery): Take Interstate 65 North exit 228, the University of Montevallo Highway exit.  Turn left onto Alabama 25 at the end of the exit ramp. Follow Alabama 25 to traffic light at intersection with U.S. 31 and turn left. Continue on U.S. 31 for two blocks and take right at traffic light at intersection with Alabama 25. Continue on Alabama 25 for approximately 10 miles into Montevallo. Turn right at first traffic light at intersection with Middle Street. Continue on Middle Street for approximately one mile and turn right into parking lot at College Drive. Police and parking attendants will assist with event parking.
