MOUNT OLIVE, North Carolina – The University of Mount Olive women's field hockey team dropped a 7-0 decision to No. 3 East Stroudsburg University in non-conference action Sunday afternoon at the Ray McDonald Sr. Sports Complex.
The Trojans kept the Warriors at bay for the first five minutes of the opening quarter before ESU found the back of the cage and took ahold of the game from that point. The second quarter saw four more scores all by ESU and the game was secured as neither team added a goal in the second half and Mount Olive picked up their second loss of the season.
