MOUNT OLIVE, N.C. - The University of Mount Olive men's soccer team ended the regular season with a 1-1 draw against Southern Wesleyan University in Conference Carolinas action Saturday afternoon Amon Field on senior day. The Trojans have secured a spot in the Conference Carolinas men's soccer tournament.

First Half

  • Mount Olive fell behind early as Southern Wesleyan pounced on the Trojans with a goal 5:54 into the first half.
  • The Warriors held the Trojans off the scoreboard in the opening half despite UMO putting up five shots.

Second Half

  • UMO came out of the break with the energy they needed to tie the game as Trevor Knight found the equalizer in the 49th minute to tie the match at one.
