Brahm Moolman's three-set win at No. 6 singles was the match-winner as nationally 50th-ranked Mount Olive remained unbeaten with a 5-4 victory over Queens in Conference Carolinas men's tennis Friday at Charlotte, N.C. Moolman was one of four Trojans post a singles win to spark the come-from-behind victory.

Mount Olive (7-0 overall, 3-0 Conference Carolinas) trailed 2-1 after three closely contested doubles matches. Henrik Falkenburg and Akio Mariano posted a 9-7 win at No. 2 doubles, but the Trojans lost the other two doubles matches by scores of 9-8 and 8-6.

Gabriel Santana posted a 7-6, 6-2 win at No. 2 singles and Falkenburg won 6-2, 6-1 at No. 3 singles to put Mount Olive on top. But Queens (3-2, 1-1) won at No. 1 and No. 3 singles to regain the overall lead at 4-3 and move within one singles win of taking the match.

Stan Roffe won 6-2, 6-3 at No. 5 singles to tie the match at 4-4 and set the stage for Moolman.

Moolman won the opening set 6-2, but fell 6-1 in the second set. The third set was tied 5-5 before Moolman won the final two games for a three-set win to keep the Trojans' perfect record intact.
